Honoring the memory of Whispering Manes’ first pony who touched the lives of so many riders, this fund is dedicated to supporting the essential needs of the herd.

What We Do
Equine Assisted Services (EAS) at Whispering Manes
Through EAS, people with a range of physical, emotional, or cognitive disabilities may develop improved balance, strength and coordination. Additionally, learning to interact with horses leads to an increased sense of confidence, independence, and self-esteem. Individuals who routinely participate in EAS frequently develop a unique relationship with a horse creating a bond based on trust and mutual respect. Ultimately, participating in EAS may lead to improved cognitive, communication, behavioral and social skills for many students.
Whispering Manes is pleased to offer a variety of equine assisted services year-round and on a seasonal basis.
We do not have mental health therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, or speech language pathologists on staff, and we do NOT offer equine-assisted psychotherapy (EAP) or hippotherapy. We are happy to work with your therapist or refer you to therapists who offer these services. Please click here to contact us for additional information about our programs.
